    The International Journal of Communication and Media Studies (IJCMS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published biannually by Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM) and managed by the Faculty of Education, Social Sciences and Humanities.

    Established in 2025, IJCMS provides a platform for academicians, researchers, and practitioners to share original research, innovative ideas, and scholarly knowledge in communication and media studies. The journal welcomes empirical, theoretical, and conceptual research covering digital media, journalism, social media, strategic communication, advertising, public relations, media ethics, emerging technologies, and communication in society.

    IJCMS accepts manuscripts in English and Malay and follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality and integrity. The journal supports ethical publishing practices and provides free access to published articles to promote global knowledge sharing.

    Jurnal Evolusi is a peer-reviewed, open-access interdisciplinary social science journal published biannually (May and November) by Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM). The journal publishes original research that examines change, development, innovation, and transformation within society, organizations, communities, and institutions.

    The journal covers four main areas: Business, Entrepreneurship & Innovation; Governance, Organizations & Community Development; Education, Language, Culture & Religion; and Well-Being, Inclusion & Sustainable Development. It also welcomes interdisciplinary research on emerging themes such as artificial intelligence, digital transformation, technology adoption, ethics, sustainability, and social inclusion.

    Jurnal Evolusi accepts manuscripts in Bahasa Melayu and English from academics, researchers, professionals, and practitioners, with particular interest in research relevant to Malaysia, Asia, and emerging economies, while remaining open to studies of international significance.

  • The Proceeding of International Conference on Cross-Disciplinary Academic Research (ICAR)

    The 2nd International Conference on Cross-Disciplinary Academic Research 2023 (ICAR 2023) which will be held on the 25th September 2023 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The conference is expected to provide an international platform that allows researchers, academicians, and industry experts to share and discuss their latest research, ideas, and survey reports. Authors are welcome to submit their full papers or abstracts for the conference which will go through blind review processes by at least two independent reviewers.

    ICAR 2023 enables collaboration between academicians and industrial players to create international networking to steer the future direction of the generation. The conference allows for substantial opportunities for presentation and intellectual discourse. Attendees will experience various activities in helping to bring together a diverse group of researchers and practitioners from multiple disciplines to generate new ideas, potential collaboration, and business opportunities.
