The research study delves into the shifting shopping behaviors of local populations in small cities, particularly their transition towards embracing the increasing presence of retail malls. It aims to comprehensively analyze the fundamental components comprising mall essentials, convenience, and the unique essence of these shopping centers, and their influence on consumer choices and behaviors in the evolving urban landscape. The study seeks to explore the roles, challenges, and future suggestions regarding the changing shopping behavior of local communities in small cities towards growing shopping malls. By shedding light on the major social and economic repercussions of changing purchasing behaviors within small metropolitan areas in response to the expanding presence of shopping malls, the research aims to provide valuable insights into the impact of mall expansion on local businesses, neighborhood sociocultural fabric, and consumer behaviors. Additionally, the study aims to unravel the complexity of this transformation and lay the groundwork for proactive measures that promote harmonious coexistence between traditional local businesses and the rising shopping mall culture in small towns
