Abstract

Commitment One (Tekad Satu) encapsulates the MADANI Government’s determination to advance govermance excellence as the foundation of Malaysia’s long-term economic resilience and social progress. It emphasizes fiscal discipline, institutional intergrity and sevices delivery innovation to create an accountable and citizen-centered administration. Through the Fiscal Responsibility Act and Government strengthens fiscal transparency and prudent financial management, ensuring efficient equitable and purposeful public spending. Initiative such as the Star Team, GovTech Malaysia, MyDigital ID and Kiosk MADANI drive digital transformation and performance efficiency in public service delivery, while the expansion of UTC facilities and diplomatic investment reflects inclusivity and global engagement. Reinforcing the Executive, Legislative and Judiciary further enhance check and balance, judicial independence and legal modernization. Collectively, Tekad Satu embodies the principles of the MADANI Economy—integrity, efficiency, and equity—establishing a governance framework that is transparent, innovative, and people-focused, guiding Malaysia toward a just and sustainable future.
