Abstract

This study endeavors to illuminate the relationship between transparency and organizational performance within the specific context of government servants, with a particular focus on the Pejabat Kewangan Negeri Perak. Transparency, defined as the practice of openly sharing information, is recognized as a cornerstone of effective governance and accountability. The study explores how transparency influences the attitudes and performance of government servants.


Through the collection and analysis of data from 73 government servants drawn exclusively from the Pejabat Kewangan Negeri Perak, this research delves into the intricate dynamics between transparency and organizational performance. It employs a quantitative research approach by disseminating a questionnaire through a Google Form developed by the researcher distributed to all staff in Pejabat Kewangan Negeri Perak. The statistical significance of the data was assessed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) Software version 29. The findings indicate that all the variables had a substantial impact on the firm's performance. Consequently, to enhance the understanding of financial transparency within the company, it is imperative to give particular attention to improving the organizational structure within the workplace to enhance overall firm performance.
