Repository Policy

The Asian Journal of Professional and Business Studies (AJPBS)

1. Archiving and Self-Archiving Rights
Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit all versions of their article in institutional or subject-specific repositories, personal websites, or other open repositories, without embargo.

The following versions may be deposited:

  • Pre-print (before peer review)

  • Post-print (after peer review, before layout)

  • Published version (final version of record, as published on AJPBS website)


2. Licensing and Copyright
Articles published in AJPBS are distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This allows for copying, distribution, and adaptation, provided proper citation is given.


3. Repository Recommendations
Authors may deposit their work in repositories such as:

  • University or institutional repositories

  • Subject-specific repositories (e.g., SSRN, RePEc)

  • General repositories (e.g., Zenodo, ResearchGate, Academia.edu)

  • National repositories (e.g., MyJurnal, MyCite)


4. Citation Requirements
When depositing, authors must include:

  • Full journal citation

  • DOI or permanent link to the published version on the AJPBS website

  • Statement of open access license (e.g., “This article is licensed under CC BY 4.0.”)


5. Long-term Archiving
AJPBS ensures long-term digital preservation of its content through:

  • Regular backups

  • Indexing in national and international databases

  • Compliance with LOCKSS/CLOCKSS principles (where applicable)
